Swormville Firefighters responded on 3/31/21 at 0332 Hrs for a report of a compost fire on Smith Rd. at CJ Krantz.

Police were on location reporting fire in the rear of the property. Swormville 9-2 went on location reporting a massive fire and requested the intial 1st alarm assignment. Command further requested the 2nd alarm mutual aid to the scene.

East Amherst, Clarence Center, Getzville, & North Amherst responded as mutual aid to the scene.

The fire was reported out in 1 hour 41 minutes.
